What a spectacular invention! I received my Kelvin K2 Wine Monitorlast week just in time for my last review. I always wondered if I was getting everything out of a bottle of wine. I would always just put everything but red in the fridge until it was cold never really knowing what was right.

The creator of the Kelvin K2 Wine Monitor, Steve Parker was in the same boat as all of us at one point thinking whites cold and reds room temperature. He lived over a wine shop which was awfully convenient. After being not impressed by wines the shop manager suggested he brought it up to him. The manager asked how he was serving the particular white in question. Steve replied overnight in the refrigerator ice cold. That was the problem. Steve being in the electronics business

developed The Kelvin.

The product

The Kelvin K2 Wine Monitor itself is pretty basic. It is a plastic band that encircles the bottle. There is a digital thermometer that touches the bottle giving a reading via Bluetooth to your smartphone. It is rechargeable using a USB cord. It takes the guesswork out of serving the perfect temperature wine. This is mine at work, the perfect temp! 

I would have to say this is one of the gadgets every wine lover needs for their collection. It makes the wine so much more enjoyable letting the aromas and flavors open up and tickle your senses!
